ALPHA TOCOPHEROL or TOCOPHEROL ACETATE (Vitamnin E) An antioxidant, free radical scavanger,photoprotectant. Helps to protect the skin from free radical damage. Helps to maintain the corrective tissues. Can also be used as a preserving agent
ALLANTOIN: extracted from comfrey root, is an anti-irritant, believed to aide in the healing of damaged skin & regenerate new cell growth. Considered non allergenic.
ALMOND OIL: An emollient and carrier oil, providing an elegant skin feel and promoting spreadability in creams and lotions.
ALOE VERA: an emollient, that hydrates, softens & heals. Believed to contain antimicrobial & anti-inflammatory properties.
ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID: Water- and oil-soluble antioxidant, 400 times more powerful than Vitamin C as an antioxidant. Increases gluathione, the body's most important antioxidant. Excellent anti-inflammatory.
AMINO ACID SURFACTANTS: Helps water penetrate the skin. Amino Acids are the body's building blocks of protein.
AMINO-GUANIDINE: Helps to prevent sugar from crystallizing on collagen fibrils, keeping the skin soft and supple. Drived from mushrooms.
ANGELICA: detoxifying & purifying & soothing to the skin.
ANISE: used as a fragrance. As a fragrance it is b elieved to be an expectorant & for sweet dreams
APRICOT KERNEL OIL: An emollient, excellent for moisturizing & skin softening
APRICOT SEEDS: (ground) used as an exfolliant
AVOCADO OIL: an emollient , bactericidal, skin soothing, stabilizer. Vitamins A,D &E
BEESWAX: Natural wax, produced by bees. Used as an emulsifier. Forms a network on the skin to protect from harsh outside elements.
BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL: Citrus Bergamia. This is what gives Earl Grey Tea its aroma/flavor. It has a sweet, fruity/citrus odor with an uplifting effect.
BETA CAROTENE: Powerful antioxidant with photo-protection properties. Natural vegetable derivitive.
BILBERRY: Powerful antioxidant.
BISABOL: A myrrh-type gum resin obtained from Africa. Anti-inflammatory, reduces sensitivity. Wound healer, anti-burn, anti-irritant, and soothing.

CASSIA BETA-GLUCAN: Retains moisture in the skin, leaving skin like velevet. From the seeds of the Cassia Augustifolia Vahl fruit.
CASTOR OIL: Barrier against harsh climate; soothing. From the castor bean.
CELLULOSE: The cell wall and structural component of plants. Used as a thickener and emulsifier in creams and lotions.
CETEARETH-20: An emollient and emulsifier from coconut or palm kernel oil.
CETEARYL ALCOHOL: An emulsifying and stabilizing wax produced from the reduction of plant oils and natural waxes. Also ane mollient giving viscosity to a finished product.
CETEARYL POLYGLUCOSE: An emollient from plants.

ETHYL ALCOHOL: Used medicinally as a topical antiseptic astringent and anti-bacterial.

GLYCERIN: A humectant and emollient extracted from "cold processed soaps". Glycerin is also highly "hygroscopic" which means that it absorbs water from the air. It also helps keep moisture in lotions, body butters, and other products.
